Over the Top
If sticking a yellow ribbon magnet on your car shows your patriotism, sticking on a whole bunch must mean you’re a whole bunch of patriotic, right?
Oi.
And the door flags … they kick it up a notch.

I’m guessing the owner of this vehicle is a Republican.

Maybe, maybe not. Despite the nearby Great Lakes Naval Station, R’s are relatively sparse in our corner of the county.
I used to see a lot of cars like this ….. between 9/12 and the first year of the war. Now, they are becoming rare. There’s still the guy with the gigantroid Ford pickup, which he welded 1″ pipes to the back corners of the bed in order to fly giant American flags. I don’t think he’s ever switched them out, either - last time I saw this vehicle (and you can’t miss it) the flags were right tattered.

onezero when did you get a ford? Just kidding.
Now those pipes would be some good HF antenna mounts. Maybe that’s what they’re really for. He loads ‘em up on field day than puts the flags in there during regular non radio days.
